Women have so much to offer our industry. It is not a matter of why we should recruit further women into the industry, as the amazing women working in Collison Repair have already proven their worth and position, it's more about why wouldn't we?
We have a skills shortage, nationally we are still over 1000 tradespeople short and as an industry we are beginning to rely heavily on international recruitment. This project ensures that Collision Repair expands its recruitment reach to better include the talented females that historically have been overlooked by, or have overlooked, the Collision Repair industry.
Training our own people ensures that in turn, we can continue to train our own people, and we want to help build and industry that is self-sufficient, resilient, and full to the brim with talented people.
